Authentication

You sign in with an identity provider you already use. Once you’re in, you choose which organization to work in, and the app scopes everything you do to that organization and its environments.

Signing in

The app signs you in through a trusted identity provider, so it never sees or stores your password. Supported providers are:

  • Google
  • Microsoft — work or school accounts only; personal Microsoft accounts are not accepted.
  • LinkedIn

Choose a provider and you’re taken to its sign-in page. After you sign in there, you return to the app. The first time you sign in, your account is created automatically from your verified email address.

Choosing an organization

After signing in you pick which organization to work in. If you belong to just one, it is selected for you; otherwise you choose from a list. Your selection scopes the whole app — projects, environments, usage, and billing all belong to the active organization — and applies the role you hold there. You can switch organizations at any time.

Within an organization you work against a specific environment, the target where your rules run. Choosing an environment focuses your session on it.

Staying signed in

Your session refreshes automatically in the background, so you stay signed in while you work without having to log in again. Your selected organization and environment are kept as you go.

Signing out

Signing out ends your session and returns you to the sign-in screen. The next time you sign in, you choose your organization again. To work in a different organization without signing out, simply switch organizations.
